Always Busy.....But that's a good thing

Once again, I wait all day for Elder Guthrie, only to find that he is late for a meeting and won't be able to chat for long. I know all you other moms will understand when I say that just "hearing" him for a second is all it take to make my week. That tells me he is indeed doing well, and a busy missionary is indeed a very good thing.

He had a computer that would not cooperate today, but he did get to send a picture of his whole mission, taken at the Pres Cox farewell. I asked him why he didn't smile! I found him right away...can you?

Busy Week in Irapuato!

Once again, Elder Guthrie didn't have much time to update us on his week, but a busy missionary is a good missionary! He did send some pictures of his new home, sweet home. He reports that he and his companion are opening up a new area, which he isn't particularly fond of because of not knowing where anything is. I guess missionaries have to learn to adjust to new areas early on though, and he is doing well.
They had 3 investigators attend church this past Sunday (not bad for the first one in a new area!) and one is a pretty sure baptism, the other two being "probably".

Irapuato, Guanajuato

I am now in the city of Irapuato, Guanajuato. IN the area of Jacarandas 2. Theyve been having alot of baptisms here recently so i hope i can continue the recent tradicion of exelence. I really wasnt expecting to get changed, they ended up closing my area. So my comp also got changed, he went to San Luis Potosi. I am one of three new missionaries living in the house now. Alot of people got changed around me. Ive sent a few pics but we really dindnt have alot of time to go and take pics today. Its been a little hectic. Im back in a big city, i would have really liked to have stayed, we were going to have some baptisms this week, would have been good. A lady named olga and her two kids are getting baptised tomorrow, i wish i could have stayed to see it, would have been nice. All in all it wasnt a bad change, white comps are always more obedient, so youll have to worry less, We will have a mission wide conf. the 15th so well se how it goes, im exited to see everybody again. If you could send an email before monday next time, like whats new and everything, it would be good. Just in case of slow comps and stuff like that. Hope all is well,
